If you want to hang your television screen from your ceiling, or you don’t have good walls for wall mounting, then a ceiling mount is an ideal solution. This type of mount offers the flexibility of being above you, and many come with adjustable arms which mean you can hide your TV from view when it’s not in use.
Positives: Very flexible, works in rooms with brick walls, easy to hide or store
Negatives: Sticks out from ceiling, easy to bang head, not great for large flat screen televisions
